A.K.A. TLV

AKA wine bottle standing on a wooden rack among horizontally stacked bottles. Wine label design

[Description]

A collection of menus, wine labels and printed pieces created for A.K.A. Group’s hospitality projects. The work treats every object placed in a guest’s hands as part of the restaurant experience, using typography, illustration and material choices to give each format its own presence.

[SCOPE]

Menu Design / Wine Label Design / Print Design / Illustration / Art Direction / Brand Applications

[The Challenge]

Menus and wine labels carry practical information, but they also shape how a restaurant is perceived. The challenge was to keep each piece useful and legible while giving it enough character to belong to the atmosphere, concept and tone of the venue it was made for.

[The Concept]

We approached each printed object as a small editorial project. Type, composition, illustration and finish were chosen according to its context, from a wine bottle to a one-night menu. The collection does not force every piece into one template; it connects them through attention to detail and a clear point of view.

[Outcome]

A varied set of hospitality pieces that extends A.K.A.’s visual culture into menus, bottles and other physical points of contact.

Open AKA Menu page with text including 'AKA' and Itay Kushmaro signature. in large stylized letters under warm ambient lighting.

[The Idea]

The menu is one of the first branded objects a guest actually uses.
We designed each piece to do more than organise information. It sets a tone, introduces a story and becomes part of the memory of the table.

What we did

[Menu Design]

We organised content through considered type and layout while giving each menu a distinct visual character.

[Wine Label Design]

Labels turn the bottle into a branded object connected to the restaurant’s wider atmosphere.

[Illustration]

Custom illustration introduces narrative and personality where typography alone would not be enough.

[Print & Art Direction]

Material, colour and composition connect the finished pieces to the context in which guests encounter them.
