[Description]

Through a Looking Glass is an experimental visual narrative created with generative video tools. Developed as part of a creative AI challenge, the project explores transformation, distorted perception and cinematic atmosphere through a sequence designed as one continuous visual world.

[The Challenge]

Generative imagery can be visually striking while still feeling disconnected from one frame to the next. The challenge was to use emerging tools in service of a coherent sequence, with enough continuity, pacing and emotional tension to function as a narrative rather than a collection of effects.

[The Concept]

We built the project around unstable reality. Surreal transitions, changing forms and dreamlike environments move the viewer through a world where perception cannot be trusted. The artificial qualities of generative media were embraced as part of the film’s language and directed through a consistent tone and rhythm.

We used transformation and distortion to carry the sequence forward, treating visual continuity, atmosphere and pacing as the structure that holds the narrative together.
